About This Project

The facility expansion included the addition of a new bypass channel at the existing Headworks structure. The construction of the channel required new helical pile founded footings supporting columns and beams. Along with the bypass channel all new grating was designed with repairs and a new concrete lining system at all interior surfaces. Immediately downstream of the Headworks a splitter box was constructed to split flow to the Oxidation Ditches. The two structures are independent but connected by elevated aluminum walkway framing and grating.
